What is Sibme?

Sibme is a cloud based video annotation tool. You can share, view and annotation in a group huddle or in peer to peer huddles. 

How do I get an account?

Currently specific Faculty in Teaching & Learning are piloting the tool with their students. For more information contact Steinhardt.it@nyu.edu

What does Sibme look like?

Do I need any expensive or special hardware to buy to use Sibme?

Absolutely not. All you need is a video recorder, access to an internet connection, and a web browser (e.g. Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer).

What video file extensions can be uploaded? 

Sibme supports the following video file extensions:

What document file extensions can be uploaded?

Currently, the following document extensions may be uploaded: doc, xls, ppt, docx, xlx, pptx, and pdf

Are there any limits to how many videos and documents I can upload to a Huddle?

No

Can I edit a video?

Yes, you can trim a video before adding it to a huddle.
