What is it?

Qualtrics is a tool for creating and administering web-based surveys for research, teaching, and administrative needs. The NYU Survey Service (powered by Qualtrics) is provided jointly by NYU IT and the Division of Libraries, via Data Services. For mote information, please visit the platform's service page on the NYU IT website.

 

How to use

Qualtrics is available to NYU faculty, staff, and students via the NYUHome Research tab as part of a university-wide license. Every full-time affiliate at NYU has automatic access to the NYU Survey Service. Click here for access and support information, including a step-by-step video tutorial.

How to get help

Support for this service is available at guides.nyu.edu/survey and through Data Services by sending email to data.service@nyu.edu or, in New York, by calling 212-998-3434 or visiting the 6th floor of Bobst Library (70 Washington Square South) during business hours. Current hours can be found at library.nyu.edu/about/access.html.

Additional information about using the service is also available on the Qualtrics website: www.qualtrics.com/university/. Though Data Services is the best source of support for the NYU community, you can also contact Qualtrics directly for help from 9am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, by calling 1-800-340-9194 or sending email to support@qualtrics.com.
